Joystick Trouble
« on: July 26, 2010, 10:34:16 PM »
I purchased a Cyborg - X Flight Stick today, and the Joystick.exe is not detecting it. Windows7 sees it just fine, and all buttons appear working on test software. I do not have another game to test it with.  Any ideas?

Got it detected, and my keys mapped how i think i want them in the actionmapper, added the z-axis throttle lines to the actionmapper.xml file and now the game crashes at load. how did i break it?

edit: when i went to double check the actionmapper after the crashes, all the button maps were gone :( Entire thing is blank.

You did remember to save after editing the controls?

First things that comes to mind is that your profiles somehow got corrupted.
Try deleting them and start over, take a copy of them first if you want just in case.
In the actionmapper you could try to create a new profile and see how that works out.

I had trouble with mine and found the solution was to simply create a new "default" profile and map everyhting from there, though I use the X52.
