In my opinion, this game is a large rip off of Battletech.

BUT IT'S THE COOLEST RIP OFF EVER! And this is an MMO, so in a way, it's a suped up Battletech MMO. :D

Tried it for some time and it feels it's more like EVE rip off. ;)

I already tried it, and I agree with Siilk.
I played for maybe a month then it simply got too boring.
Unless you like the EVE style of play, I seriously doubt your gonna be playing for long.
And the bots you pilot feels more like micromachines than like large fearsome war machines.
The game in my opinion holds no challenge.
You just point at an enemy and let some random numbers decide if you hit or miss rather than your skill at aiming.

Like in the Battletech boardgame  ::)

You guys tried this game already?

It's in Closed Beta right now, how long has it been going?

It still in Closed Beta?
I stopped playing it about a month and a half ago, and at that time they were talking about going open beta by the end of the month.
Then again, from what I heard they have been saying so for some time.

Its been going since November or December last year
And yes I tried it already, its boring as hell.

Leveling system is similar to Eve, you get 1 point every 60 seconds for a total for 1440 each day, which you then use to level up different skills.
You either go out and kill random NPC mobs, missions(quests) are not even worth taking, or sit around in the base producing items you then can sell to others on the market.
PVP is more or less nonexistent.

But if you wanna try it, you can just sign up for beta.
If you know someone who plays ask them to talk to a DEVs ingame to let you in.
Yes both DEVs and GMs are online for shorter or longer periods of time more or less daily.

A couple of us from here already play i play regularly im actualy the mining director of the largest corp in game currently. Its alot of fun but yes if didnt like eve chances are you wont like this UNLESS you simply wish eve had wasd or some movement options . The fight system is not too bad for an mmorpg it lets you use terrain to your advantage and has destructable enviroments (sorta).

PM me the account name you signed up with or w/e and ill see if i can get you in quicker.
