ATI Catalyst 10.8 performance hit

10.7's had great performance but 10.8 caused significantly lower FPS on my single-card setup (HD5850). Rolling back to 10.7 restored my previous rates. I strongly recommend using 10.7!

I do not see any drop on 10.8 with a 5830.

No perf hit here with 4850 - looks about the same - only played one map (frostbite) though.

I have a 5970, Windows 7 64-bit and I have CTD's and performance hits with multiple games with any version past 10.5a.  10.5a is the only stable/performing driver for me.
