So shoot him down before he rams you?

Unless the problem is somehow that you're having issues with ASF being able to do the full extent of its damaging attack in a single pass, while remaining too durable to counter between high armor and lag shield? ;)

Which, of course, you can find tons of people around here who sympathize with you for that.

You're a moron. The Shiva can shred people to bits when a good pilot is behind it. Just like any other vehicle. Including AA, which shreds Aeros to bits. Instantly. You know what I fear most when I'm in a shiva? That I happen to get caught out in the open by a huit with no chance to react. Yes, the huit can kill you in about five seconds if he can hit you, which is not hard if you know how to lead. Its just that so many people are from old mech games and cant hit anything moving faster than 100kph.

Regardless my biggest fear in a shiva should be AA. Not a sparrowhawk flown by a cadet to suicide into me. No, the Shiva can not avoid this. Please, get in the air and try to avoid a Sparrowhawk in the Shiva.

I think you missed the point. The Sparrowhawk that is attacking your Shiva is the "ASF being able to do the full extent of its damaging attack in a single pass" in this example, not the Shiva.

See, it was an example of the tables being turned.  I would have thought you'd be more sympathetic!

ITT: Obvious abuse of a glitch is ok because "those fapping aeros can actually hurt my assault mech".

No, I'm not really sympathetic to 'sploiters.

Absolutely and most certainly NOT!  The Sparrowhawk surviving the ram is completely unfair.  Only the obvious abuse of crysis netcode that lets the ASF use its ridiculous speed as a lagshield to get close enough to ram is acceptable.

What do you think I am?  Some kind of pro-unfairness jerk??

Aeros aren't even fast, Crysis is just terrible at this.

You have my complete agreement here.  The bar for "ridiculous speed" is certainly "ridiculously low" for Crysis.

Also, I'm used to combatting (effectively, mind you) fighters and fighter-bombers from Battlefield 2, either from my own fighter (I was more into air superiority than chain bombing outposts) or from the ground, using whatever creative use of AA emplacements, AA tanks, regular tanks, or knowledge of enemy flight patterns I could. So no, with the comparative patheticness of aeros in this game and all the tools given to you to fight them, I have zero sympathy for those getting murdered by air units in MWLL and then crying about how "unfair and overpowered" they are.

Well that's unfortunate.  The OP certainly has my sympathy for getting murdered by air units, even if he resorts to calling them unfair and overpowered for doing it!

You know exactly what I meant by that.

While there continues to be no penalty for dying, people will continue to not value their in-game lives.

Well, it SHOULD count as a suicide and give you a rank loss.

What? You mean like plane suicide bombers and me in a raven mech? Cry me a river  :'(

Very mature. At least accumulate more posts before you start acting condescending. That said...

Oh is it now?

And I've never seen kamikaze planes doing any damage to mechs. They just bounce off.

I would defy that! I have seen numerous kamikaze runs on 'Mechs!

Well, IIRC they do some damage to mechs, but not enough to be rewarding in any case...

It was extraordinarily funny witnessing ComeAndSee crying and whining in-game, after wrapping his plane around a pilon ( like a stripper slides down a pole ). I wish I had it on FRAPS.

Aero - the biggest griefers in the game. And I'm the troll *eyeroll*

I don't even fly but I've spectated enough dogfights to see that air to air is a joke.

If you don't have anything useful to say around here, please just leave us alone. By your logic you're making yourself less skilled at the game anyway.
