Bringing the Operatic Grandeur to Mechwarrior (courtesy of Jeehun Hwang) we have MechWarrior 2:
Golden Spade:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAQxocc8BMc&feature=related Can still see my Mad Dog Prime running down the mesa canyons, taking a 100m tall viaduct out with LRMs (watching a Kit Fox fall to it's death), wasting some tanks with the Large Pulse Lasers and then on to the Mediums and Heavies 1vs 1 until splashing the reactor at the end of the valley and getting out before it goes critical, the throttle was at 100% the entire time.
Arkham Bridge:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ0LAs9KiXc&feature=related Pure Epicness, gotta love an ostenato violin line for tension.
Iron Piston:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB0oxICsbOI Creeping Danger Sudden Violence (we need Chinese characters)
Armor Veil:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZXdYKlKPxI&feature=related The Horns calling you to the Hunt, more ostinato than you would shake a stick at and memories of some of the hardest fights in MW2.
Pyre Light:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX4G1RJYTi8&feature=related Memory:the Dropship Bannockburn won't kill itself you know...dunes and Jenners and ripping up the rolling hills in my HellBringer
Temper Edge:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSgpH-0L91Y&feature=related Another Epic Loop, more building tension.
Velvet Hammer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqaHy5xRUDY&feature=related I love it because it's almost like a Fugue.
Flame Tongue:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNlMuiOdnpI&feature=related I love the way this track lumbers against inevitable tension of the harmonic and rythmic dissonances, and again the Horns of War are never bad. Memories of running through a city killing Heavies, and keeping pushing fast because time is running out

Wolf Trial 1:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNWK8qqfpyE&feature=related Another Epic loop, and you never forget your first Trial for Position

MechWarrior 2:Mercs; although this has some of my favourite tracks, and I love the less pretentious Inner Sphere Heavy Metal approach as a counterpoint to the Clans Orchestral pomposity

Trouble is I don't have the tracks and you tubes pretty poor in that regards too, so here's some links of samples (not even the full loops but good for an idea anyways):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3g4jgcv0kVAOf course, to emphasis my point in the Clan v IS difference, at 4.10 it gets very epic and operatic when they're fighting clanners, this is the music for the end-sequence movie (Battle of Dinju Pass, Tukayyid, where the combined armies of the Clans lost to ComStar, the movie is of the last Smoke Jaguars on the Planet being finished off by the Inner Sphere) this was also used for a campaign final mission ("The Killing Fields", set at the climax to the Battle of Luthien, where the Smoke Jaguars and Nova Cats were beaten senseless by Inner Sphere).
MechCommander Gold "Desperate Measures":
The attached WAV audio file is the main screen music for MCG:DM, love the horns and whistling pipes, spooky and whistful, suits a campaign set in the ruins of a Star League era facility on a very alien world, with the last of the Jaguar remnant being hunted down for extinction, before they can "set us up the bomb". A slow burning loop that you'll eventually be incapable of getting out of your head

NM...server doesnt like WAV files, if anyone wants to hear it I'll PM it to you.
