Yeah, would be great to know.
And I'm still not sure if I got the whole Crysis Wars stuff right. Is it just the multiplayer of Crysis Warhead or is this something completely different?

Great news - thanks devs!

That Morrigu looks means.   Can't wait to trundle it out.

But Terrain Control is what I think will be the best addition to this mod.

Roll on end of September!

I'm pretty sure that Crysis Wars is the Multiplayer component of Crysis Warhead.

Not quite. You buy Warhead and Wars as a single "game", but it actually contains 2 different pieces of software. Crysis Warhead is the single player ONLY(no mods no nothing but sp) version. Crysis Wars(if you got the retail box like me) is on a different disk and is a completey seperate piece of software to Warhead(for digital downloaders, it should be an optional component if not already present).

Basically, I think that Crytek found it simpler to keep the single player campaign and code seperate from the multiplayer stuff. Though there is a "singleplayer mod" for the Crysis Wars SDK to make single player maps/mods under the Crysis Wars codebase.

I've not been as involved as of the past few months but I do not believe 0.4.0 will involve the conversion to crysis wars

:(  We will have to keep dreaming of our long awaited netcode improvements...

In the meantime, awesome work, can't wait for terrain control and the new map is sick! Can't wait to see how the meteor shower has been implemented, it just looks stunning.
Only thing I'm not sure about is the ringed planet in the skybox, it looks stretched in the screens.  ???

This is not entirely accurate. I believe that  Leer has avoided saying anything direct because it can only be estimated when Toth will be finished converting the mod to work with Crysis wars. At this stage, confirming or denying it for the 0.4.0 release is not possible.

The port is being worked on, just a bit more patience and it'll arrive when its done.  If you want it done quicker and you have the skills, you know what you have to do! Submit an application :P

New idea- would I be able to use an external hard drive to add RAM and/or improve gigahertz?

Great news, everyone!

 Ahem. ::)

Yeah, but seriously, great news. I'm glad to hear we'll have some new assets soon. I can't wait to try out Morrigu. As far as I understand, it would be kinda like Huit, as it's configs include LRMs as well as direct fire weapons. And Ares looks good too. It's a shame that it has such a huge profile. Would be an easy target, if it's speed wouldn't be much higher than Oro's.

BTW, does renaming of the game modes means that we'll see some of them in the 0.4.0? I really want to see TC or, at least, FFA.

Next Release 0.4.0 Estimated for End of September
We are currently on track for the release of MWLL Public Beta 0.4.0 at the end of September.  This release will include the new Terrain Control (TC) game mode with supporting maps as well as numerous other features, extensive bug fixes and a hearty portion of surprises...

YES ! :)

Thanks for the good news.
I am itching for a more tactical game mode since the first release of the mod. So this new makes me very happy.
And grats to the new members.... and grats for getting more slaves to the project ;).
That really looks like a major manpower increase!
