I'd also like to note that this is in fact a beta that you're playing, and you haven't the foggiest idea of what has been going on behind the scenes between each and every release, from that first video to our beta teaser, to each and every patch and hotfix. There are a lot of people working as much as they can - considering no one is paying them - to make this mod the best it can be. Constructive criticism is, of course welcome. If you've read through these forums at all, or utilized the very handy search function, you'll find that all the concerns I see stated have been addressed in some form or another; if you have a gripe about a particular issue that you feel isn't being addressed, you are welcome to acquire the skills and experience necessary to help fix it and apply to join the team. Otherwise, we can but do the best we can with what resources we have available, and while the dev team, I'm sure, would like to release updates more often, such things take time and testing and time and testing and testing and testing and balancing and testing, i.e., a lot of time, sometimes.
O woe, o woe, with much wailing and gnashing of teeth, it is unfortunate that the MW/CBT IP is split up so badly. However it is what it is, and the only way you were going to get a real MW game any time soon was for someone to make a royalty-and-reward-free version. This team is the one that had enough skill and talent to make this mod happen, and maybe, just maybe, had something to do with S&T deciding to try to make MW5, but that is still irrelevant. It sucks, but no one gets paid for the time spent working on this FREE game, and all of us have to eat and pay bills (electricity and internet are useful, I find), leading to other priorities sometimes. So unless you are, or otherwise know, a really excellent copyright/IP lawyer and/or an incredibly wealthy venture capitalist, who can somehow finagle a way for the Dev team to get paid a salary to make this game... how much more can you ask from these people and a mod that is very clearly a beta.
Also, I like pie.
