I also always wondered what they did with Commander Data's internals when STNG ended.

Going a bit off topic here being a major Trek fan.
To answer that question I suggest you watch the movie Star Trek Nemesis.
Or you can read the spoiler I posted below. The spoiler also reveals some things for the game Star Trek Online in that regard.
I post it as a spoiler as I know how it is when someone tell you what happens, this way I dont spoil it for those who want to find out for themselves.
In the Movie Star Trek Nemesis, they kill Data at the end.
He sacrifices himself to destroy a Romulan weapon of mass destruction and save his Captain who is ready to sacrifice himself to do the job.

If you played Star Trek Online, Horrible game btw and  should never have been made that way, you will see they revived him again.
I for one dont like it, but it is said they used the android Data himself created called B4 to revive him.
But technically speaking with Data destroyed they have no way to transfer Datas knowledge to the new body, which is why I dont like that plot line
To get back on topic, looking at those pics I had to ask myself if that was really a computer. Looked more like a jumble of cables, wires and components to me.

Sorry we are not going to tell you how to turn the cheatprotection off. That would render the cheatprotection useless in the first place. Also I don't think that the ZZ pack will give you that many improvements as we changed lots of stuff compared to original crysis.
There comes a point where the talking must stop, and people have to do actual work.

Mosie, do you get many MWLL CTD's with that rig ? (crash to desktop)

Also, just out of curiosity, what kind of financial investment does a rig like that require ? And, do you need to walk on tiptoes to not short everythnig with that wooden floor ? ;) lol

It seems that at some point he came to the conclusion:
Why buy a case (he'd probably need another two) and some tie wraps when you can toss in another HD 5970 and a waterblock?  :P

Damn! I remember watching this movie a long time ago. It was quite fun back then, but I don't remember anything about it now. What's it's title?

You could mount the thing on your wall...

Are you using that single NVidia card just for physics? I can't imagine it can render simultaneously with ATI cards.

Can that thing handle real-time ray tracing (resolution, bounces)?

Yeah, you mean like this one?

And I also don't see why you would need a 9600 with the 3x 5970s, redundant PhysX card is redundant.

No you don't need it, but having it is not redundant at all. If it's dedicated to physx there is no related load on the gpus or CPU freeing them to do what they do best.. It's a smart move to make sure he benefits most from the cf setup.

I remember that Jaso guy posting that he uses dry ice... lol. to OP: where are your fire extinguishers?

take an aquarium case for pete's sake, then mount the boards in a cool way. finally, drill lots of holes the RIGHT way and set up a through-side circulation system.

other than that.... HOLY SHIT!

I wouldn't mount the keyboard, monitor, mouse on the wall. That seems a bit impractical.

PhysX won't be zero physics CPU load when using a PhysX card, but it should be handling much of the heavy crunching. I've also heard a claim that NVidia has "deliberately sabotaged" PhysX performance on CPUs, presumably to sell more PhysX cards (The x87 floating point instructions are positively ancient [...] Realistically, Nvidia could use packed, single precision SSE for PhysX, if they wanted to take advantage of the CPU.).

I believe he's talking about 'Weird Science'

Just realized Stark might have used this for his early prototype for IronMan :)
