I remember a dev post about they way the mechs are set up lends more to the missed hit detection than lag.  Obviously less lag is always a better thing, but it's not going to be the magic bullet for the hit detection issues.

I for one can't wait for the Crysis Wars port. Will client load-times decrease since Crysis Wars doesn't load up all that single player content that Crysis does?
I want more heavy gauss in my life.

For the Map loading time, its the same in CRYSIS and WARS imho.

For a quicker boot of CRYSIS, you can just delete or rename your videos in Crysis/Game/Localized/Video, for the MOD its Crysis/Mods/mwll/Game/Localized/Video).
