Tanks and slopes
« on: October 14, 2010, 08:54:45 PM »
On small slopes Tanks sometimes slide down while I am holding X.

When aiming they jitter alot on slopes.

Sometimes when driving staight ahead they run into nothing. Sometimes it is a small slope they crash into, though.

Tanks tend to drift downwards if the sloop is to steep or the client briefly lets go of X. This, I assume, is due to the tracks.

They jitter because they are not firing from a stable terrain, e.g. on uneven terrain?

On which map are you hitting invisible objects. Screen-shots with the mini-map open would be preferred.

This is a setting that i'm familiar with, i'll see if we can reduce the sliding a little bit as it does annoy me too sometimes.

Great! :)

Now if we could also  accelerate upwards slopes that would be nice too.
As of now, as soon as you let go of the brake you start rolling backwards and as long as you're moving you have absolutely no torque in the opposite direction :-\
