I am reserving my right to throw stones until AFTER CoD: Black Ops is released... Activision is quickly pissing me off especially after CoD: ModWarfare2. I refuse to buy any game from EA Sports anymore, so I am running out of games to play... of course Cat hits in Dec, so that has potential. But ultimately, I stare in to the future and dream of High Def battles for the universe in 0.4.0. Some times it takes not having to answer to the corporate universe to produce a game that kicks so much ass. Most of us know that the bottom line is what drives these companies, not the want to produce something truly unique and awe inspiring.

Games like Eve intrigue me because they are not mainstream, but then again, I tried to play Eve and got really tired, really quickly of orbiting everything when it came to mining, attacking, etc etc... I think the vision that developers and designers have could be so much more if the corporate constraints weren't there... but then, none of them would get to eat.

Activision used to be cool back in the 90's. But now, 15$ for 5 Modern Warfare maps which took probably less than a week to make apiece. Screw Kotick, seriously.

I just hope if they do this, other company's don't adopt it. I do not want to be paying $30 to find out the ending of Crysis 2...Or to mess up Force Unleashed 2 if it did happen to it. -_-, only 'cool' company i see these days is Valve.

The problem is that ppl are stupid enough to pay for this shit.
I used to have a roommate that would pay monies for Diablo 2 gear, long after that game was fun, always seemed moronic to pay for something that is really nothing.
Kinda like games with no suspense or tension to their storylines, just boring and not worth it.
So boycott DLC, 'expansion packs', and other such nonsensical ploys to wring as much money out of every title.
