I was pubbing last night on TLL's NJ server(maybe it was the Texas server, i forget lol), and there were the usual non-clanner d00ds around. I'm horrible with names, but they all played EXTREMELY excitement last night. In particular, 'Bobby,' was doing VERY well, and was using cover and tactics very well.
I was very surprised when I was in an LRM vulture, on sandblasted near the clan side, those tall rocks people stand behind(and under). He charged through in I think a kitfox? lol. did a bunch of damage to my teammates,dodged their fire, and ran around me, and hid RIGHT behind me, out of firing line 2 or 3 of my teammates fire lol(my teammates kept firing at 'him,' hitting me instead. needless to say, I was barely damaged before he started charging, and he ended up killing me, even after I alpha strike'd my 80 LRMS in his face.
His skill of knowing some of the lesser skilled players on my team would keep trying to shoot him through me, and him hiding right behind me so I would have to take splash damage, really was top notch.
Like I said, there were lots of others that played VERY well in that match. Was one of the funnest and best pubs I've ever played in.
I know darthbob and Roi were there too, later in the game. You guys played sucky. haha j/k. I had fun trying to protect Roi's LT against darths suicide aero runs in my huit prime half way through the game.
Sucks that I had crysis crash right after the next map.
But yeah. There it is.
