If it's the same Bobby i'm thinking of then yes he's right up there with the rest of vets. To bad more of those guys don't post on the boards too.
this
Yeah, Bobby is ridiculously good. I was playing Sandblasted on his team last night and we were both in Shadowcat A's rushing together.
I love running around in the same mech as someone else, it's so easy to time strikes.
He ran up a score like 17-3 just in a Shadowcat at the end of the game.
We were both after Mechman who was in the pulse laser Thanatos and could never get him. We spent the whole map going after him. Every time we went after him, he would rtb really fast or behind a wall of warhammers and catapults. And when Bobby and I were damaged quite a bit, he would chase us across the map with the Thanatos' speed. Just as I thought I had made it to base, I got hammered from the back by Mechman and promptly exploded.
At 6 seconds left and with all 3 torsos in the red, I finally took out Mechman with a well-placed UAC20 shot. HUZZAH!!!
LOL, yes, Bobby is damn good. We managed to shut him down on inferno though. That's probably why he went all rape on us in Sand Blasted. He does post here from time to time. He has an Urban Jungle video that is very good. He needs to make more videos.
SSRM Vulture can kill a lot of things but, not a Mauler C and a pilot with aim. It helps that the Mauler doesn't rock and roll quite as much as the lighter mechs when taking missile fire.
Lot's of good players on recently.

What is this 'The Search for Bobby Fisher', or something?

OT: I am always amazed at ppls ability to get in your blindspot and stay there. I can't think of anybody off the bat, but lately games are soo chaotic, that i can't tell if ppl are good at anything, its like a demolition derby out there.
have fun out there kids...
