While balancing and tweaking the weapon knock back effect is cool and nice, what I would like to see in 0.4 (or possibly a later release) is instead of random HUD shakes, knock back effect should depend on where the mech is hit and force the torso to twist accordingly. What I mean can bee seen in the mw5 teaser, as the warhammer gets pounded by the ac of the atlas there.

I liked it, but like you said, the Dev response just brings up a whole host of other questions (like if we'd see these things in 0.4.0....)
