Nice, hopefully it won't bounce around as much as the Harasser does^^'

I'm pretty sure that's the symbol for combat vehicles :D

It's a hovercraft, not a tank :P
In CBT it goes 150 kph ;)

Since I'm sleepy, I'll take a wild guess in my delusional state about the infinity sign: it means they're indefinitely infinite. But then again, it could be a place holder for the already implemented minimap class system, e.g. light mech symbols having no filled in points. Maybe now we'll see it on the HUD too I guess.

So, it's really Epona! Cool! Can't wait to try it out! 8)

Yeah, love them! As for symbol, it looks like  a minimap VTOL icon, so I guess there would be an icon on a targeting bracket, representing target's class(and looks like hovers are treated like VTOLS in 0.4.0).

WAITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

Dude! That is unbelievably cool! No wounded mech would get away from that baby. 8)

Nice. But it is everything I am not being told that would tell me just how useful it will be: Price, DHS #, Armor.

Omnihover. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Epona

Also, something similar to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/APP-6A#Common_combinations. I wonder if they're changing the icons, since that "infinity symbol" isn't the same as the one that shows up on the map. The "infinity symbol" is for VTOLs, but we see it being used on the Morrigus. A placeholder symbol, perhaps?

Nice to see Master Sergeant and Sergeant ranks working, along side the Morrigu.

Also, new Cougar variants.

If pulse laser heat problems have been fixed, I feel this would be a serious 50k/60k contender for light mech rape and hit and run.

Epona “A”
TAG
2x CLRM15
Meh. It better have tons of ammo, or other wise I'd have taken the LRM Harasser for the electronics packages.

Epona “B”
UAC10
CSSRM4
Interesting choice.

Epona “C”
TAG
CERPPC
CSSRM4
GECM
Powerful little sucker. TAG sort of useful, if positioned properly. Looks to be a great spotter/scout with the power to possibly take out light mechs.

I hope there will be few new mechs. And some redo of old ones could be good also. I see few mechs are used rarely.

Why does the Epona C get gecm while the B and Prime version clearly needs gecm more so that they can get into range/stay there undetected?

Otherwise keep up the good work (and bring us the patch before christmas! ;))

Seeing how this is a clan asset, shouldn't that be a CUAC10???

Because all their variants are based off the CBT ones.

Quote
Alt. Config. A - The second most popular configuration of the Epona carries a pair of LRM-20s in its turret. Four tons of ammunition keeps the Epona in supply through most Trials. To supplement this support variant, the A mounts paired ER Medium Lasers in the front. Next to those lasers is a TAG that enables the Epona A to call in heavy artillery support. BV (1.0) = 1,741[1], BV (2.0) = 1,976[3]

Alt. Config. B - Meant for use in open terrain, the Epona B carries a large gun in the form of an Ultra Autocannon/10 that is in the turret. It is supplemented by two Streak SRM-4s in the vehicle's front that can exploit any holes that the autocannon makes in an enemy's armor. BV (1.0) = 1,022[1], BV (2.0) = 1,255[4]

Alt. Config. C - The Epona C is a mix between a cavalry, spotter, and fire support vehicle. The turret carries both an ER PPC that is useful at all ranges and a Streak SRM-6 that the gunner can fire with no fear of wasting ammunition. This variant also mounts a TAG, but in addition, makes use of an ECM Suite to protect it from enemy electronics. BV (1.0) = 1,322[1], BV (2.0) = 1,563[5]

Basically, the GECM allows you to stay on active radar at long range so you can keep tabs on enemy units. I wonder why the LRMs were downed to 15s, and the Streaks downed by half in launcher number, and two in missile number. Too powerful?

Fast, nimble and takes a punch or two. Jup, it's fun.

A shame Epona is Clan...  :'(
