weapons would be incorporated under the hand shield. the area around the current placeholder lasers is larger than the placeholders for that reason. the arms will be partially redone when i get them into crysis. I made them quickly because of that reason. probably will include the fist once i get it finalized. you cannot fit a guass or PPC on the ryoken that i know of. LBX10 on the arms was a MW4 arena brawler and is not a normal setup. could be done, would look strange for that reason.

 the shoulder LRMs will be setup like the vulture where the launcher is internal.

Right now the model is very low on the polygon end. i dont know what most MWLL mechs are, but i tried to keep it under 8x triangles. even then i can cut back without too much work (shoulder LRMs could just be textured on like the current mechs).

That's awesome! I have to say then, excellent forethought in your design. I look forward to a final!

nice, has the stormcrow's arms always been that small?

Yeah and actually it makes me wonder what the point of the arms are at all.  The feet on the mech are perfect proportion and put the 'crow' in stormcrow.

Those are the old designs anyway, as pictured in the TROs. It's loadout has been changed (read: nerfed) by FASA after the pictures had been made.

Notice the missing missile launchers, lazor mounted in CT and bigger lazors in the arms ;)

i actually used that 1st one as a reference drawing to get the proportions right. the feet just look wrong in those pictures. when the mech would run, it would constantly be tipping inward making it very, very rough. i balanced the toes out and added pivots to help correct that.

Work on the texture is coming along. god i hate unwraping though. i need to find a quicker way to texture things. for a high poly model i would just export to zbrush and paint everything i wanted on then export that texture and photoshop it. the problem is that zbrush subdivides everything and you need to export from zbrush to get the texture coords.

your model is just a hair wide, but it looks good to me..
