An Atlas is 19 meters tall, or 62'.

The thing that's always confused me, is how much people want to hold onto certain scale factors that they're used to...couldn't they have much taller buildings on some worlds in CBT?  Couldn't some planets have much bigger trees than what you'd normally think?  Also, as I recall, CBT isn't always consistent and usually lacking on mech heights, I think there are actually several different heights listed in different sources for the height of the Atlas (although I'm assuming you're quoting our in-game height).  But in the end I'd probably call it about 5 stories tall maybe.  But it sounds to me like the map's still a WiP and there's a big difference between constructive criticism and trying to force your own vision on someone (but often a thin line between the two).  The latter is unhelpful and disrespectful, the former is useful and usually welcomed if done respectfully.

Personally, I'd prefer narrow streets just for the effect.

Have you played Pytak's refinery? If not, do so:

It's not a proper map, but it gives you a really mighty feeling of being in a big war machine. Fighting in confined spaces that restrict your movement and make BA attacks easy. Jumpjets that are actually useful. It's so much fun!

As much as I like Urban Jungle (it really is a great map), I find the scale much too big. Scaling it down by 20% and narrowing some streets would be cool I think.

I wish it was a little prettier. It's literally just some grass terrain with buildings speared into it. Kinda off-putting since it doesn't look very natural.

That's cool, just let us know when your city map is ready and we'll let you know how it fails.

God forbid you ever post a single thing that isn't you being a rotten little fapp trolling for responses.

Your nonstop complaints just amuse me, keep it up lil' buddy. Who needs temphage when we have you?
I still love you ratbuddy!  Afterall I am the RatKing! :o ;) ;D

TBH, if anyone talks shit about Salvs' maps they can eat it!  Palisdes! Deslotion!! fugitaboutit!  The Man knows what he's doin. ;D ;D ;D Keep up the good work...and thnx for the good work you have done.

An Atlas is 19 meters tall, or 62'.

That is debateable.

I downloaded and tried installing and playing this map, but it just doesn't seem to work.  I followed the instructions posted earlier to put the map files in game/levels/multiplayer/SA, but it just won't load in game.

Does your 0.3.2 MWLL work ok with other maps?

All other maps work just fine.  This is the first community map I've touched.

And you are copying the Urban_Jungle map folder to this location?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Mods\mwll\Game\Levels\Multiplayer\SA

I am assuming you are running Vista or Windows 7, correct?

And what version of the map are you loading?

I've had this problem with every other community also. Don't know what to do but only going to wait for .4 unless any suggestions come up.

All of the "map files" should actually be under:

X:\Steam\steamapps\common\crysis\Mods\mwll\Game\Levels\Multiplayer\SA\SA_Urban_Jungle

Assuming Steam, of course.

I put the map in the correct file location, so that's not the problem.  I am  running windows 7, but i have no idea what version of the map I have or how to check it.

just played it, and thank you for all of the cover and strategic paths!

I didn't rage a single time playing on this map. No giant lame sniper standoffs, minimal LRM camping, basically a brawler's paradise ;D
If one team makes a giant defensive line, you have multiple options to flank. Most other maps only give you one or two at most :-\

Can't wait for the TC version!

Edit: having a few places smoothed out a little (like the big swimming pool or something, or any of the low ledge-ey places) so that mechs don't get stuck on them would be beneficial to the map.
You could just give the places steps, or put invisible ramps to make it look that the mechs stepped up on the thing

Might take a while finding all of the ledges though :-\
