Crysis Warhead in Steam

Just bought the steam version of Crysis Warhead. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm new to this forum but I've been checking up on this mod from time to time since the very beginning. Very much looking forward to trying it out once 0.4 is released. See you guys on the servers then.

I have the steam version as well. You don't even need to run steam to play MWLL. I downloaded the 64bit folder and added it to my crysis dir. Start it with the launcher and you're GTG. There is a thread in the tech forum that has the download location. I assume one would need to do the same for the steam version of Wars. As far as I know, there is no problems with steam and MWLL. It is essentially the same folder structure as you would get with the CD install. Just missing the 64bit folder and Disk protection.

my apologies nobody caught this before... but, you need Crysis Wars, NOT Crysis Warhead.  They are different.  Warhead is a stand alone expansion to the original Crysis and is not what you need in the long run.

I have no idea if 0.4.0 will work on Warhead, or just on Wars and Original Crysis.  But come 5.0, you'll need Wars.

This is afaik.  If I'm wrong, someone correct plz.

To play MWLL 0.4.0 or the newly updated MWLL 0.4.1 you need either Crysis or Crysis Warhead/Wars. MWLL will not run on Crysis Warhead. Crysis Warhead is a Single Player game. Crysis Wars is a Multiplayer game. Crysis is both a Singleplayer and a Multiplayer game. Buy Crysis Warhead/Wars and install Crysis Wars to set yourself up for future MWLL updates and new content.

Sorry to be dense, but just wanted to confirm that that $4.99 Crysis Warhead alone will be enough to run MWLL 3.2 AND 4.0 when released. Thanks!

MWLL does not use Warhead.  Warhead is single player.  Wars is the MP Crysis version and is totally separate from Warhead.

Don't worry. Like others have stated Warhead is the version you need to buy, which will grant you access to Wars which is the multiplayer version of Warhead. Yes, I know it's confusing.
