The autoupdater is effectively a torrent client with a built in torrent, even if you cancel it and restart it later, you wont lose your progress.

So what should we do then?

Pause download and wait for hotfix.... Might not come for a while.
Play another game to quench your boredom in the meantime.

Also maybe you should exit the AutoUpdater, as I believe it continues to seed files as long as it is running, and there is no need to seed a broken download right now.

I erased mod as instructed and DL'd and installed did repair through the updater and got the message at launch "MWLL" not supposed to be in parenthesis and I get at bottom of screen quarantined message. Game will not launch or connect. WTH?

Except that maybe the devs will fix this by just getting everyone to download the broken 0.4.0 and then fixing it with a hotfix that's applied after so that people who have already downloaded don't need to start again from scratch. In that case seeding the current file is still useful. It'd be cool if a dev could clear that up actually. I'm happy to seed and not download if that's productive but who knows if it is right now.

"Quarantined" is a word commonly used by anti-virus. I don't know that what you're seeing is not a problem with MWLL, but you might want to look at that.

front page has been updated with the fix. I assume it's ok to resume downloads now. Someone on IRC said so anyway but he wasn't a dev.
