Take a correction on the fact that it's you. Other people struggle to run in Mediums......  ::)

But it's good IMO. Not that first random guy can run in Assaults since his very first game if only he manage to join in first minutes.
Now game awards you learning how to play with something more than just rank. You get new units as things progress. Which is really great.

I'm liking this approach.  A diversity of mechs with roles for each class is most welcomed.

Won't be ablt to play new patch until I get off work, but seconding the philosophy!

(And I'll throw in the ubiquitous THANK YOU! for the continued development of a fantastic mod in this first post after the new patch)

I'm glad others have noticed that Lights, Meds, fast land assets is the way to make HUGE $$$.  Been advocating this for a while now and was swimming in money last night from all the points i was capping :D.  Course i was give it all way cause who wants to be a slow walking coffin.

PS DANG YOU UAC20 LOKI you are my nemesis no matter who pilots you! Seriously, that this is a freaking hunter/killer mech for us light cappers :D

The money situation is a step in the right direction. I had over 200k within about 10 minutes of joining a TC server. It's still too easy, if anything.
Always keep in mind that for every one player that does a lot of damage and never dies, there's at least one player who isn't doing much damage and dying a lot.

Making a slippery slope or overly frustrating to be losing is a sure way to lose players.

this is true, but then i'd say TC is more vet friendly, BUT rookies can do well if they just go light and fast for caps

Haha and fighting it with the LBX 20's wasn't hard? I'm going to miss those but this variant sounds awesome.

Loki C is still there. Just way outclassed now! Yea you don't want that ac20 Loki any where near you. Have you seen that AC20 Bushy?!!!  OMG a PPC and AC20 and SRM. I only have been able to beat one with the Hgauss thanny. Had to keep him at arms length and he was still pumping me with ac fire.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get in on .4 yet (you guys would release it when I'm in another state on business :P),so take anything I say  with that in mind. But I totally support the idea of the big nasty assaults and heavies being more valuable in a sense. As it was the bad boys like the mkii and atlas(that should be a rarity on the battlefield) were pretty common and you could waste mechs and not really care.Seeing a mad cat or mauler pop up over the hill should mean something, and should be an asset your team doesn't want to lose.Hopefully this will encourage teams to run in mixed packs of all weight classes to provide adequate support with radar/fast movers/brawlers all covering each other.Don't get me wrong,I like to strike out on my own every now and then just for some quick destruction, but the most awesome game play this mod has to offer (in my opinion) is when a team is working together to push lines, while your long range support guys cover you from behind and some fast movers flank around to cause disarray.
Regardless,THANK YOU DEVS!!!! for all your hard work on this fantastic mod.I really do appreciate it and can't wait to get home to play again.

P.S.:Almost forgot,do the ac's/ppc's have any better hit detection now? been a bit worried about that as ac's and ppc's are my favorite weapons.Of course I haven't tried the xpulse or HL's yet :P or the atm's...... gah I want to be home now lol

I kinda like it as it is. You get more money from damage now, and you can usually make a bunch of money selling your mech.

I palyed it and I loved it. The Hellbringer and Timber Wolf E are absolute rape machines, but well worth their cost. Gotta love the devs for what they did. Also do we now have a flying beatstick. Hollanders everywhere, beware  8).

HAHA .... I think that was me, but I'm happy to see the gauss rifles in general got their strength back. That H.gauss will destroy a section per shot and turn an atlas ct to a good medium orange.

Speaking of atlas, I believe its a lot scarier with the 3 rac5s
