One Match on Thunder Rift:
We had an Advantage of about 100 tickets left over compared to their 0 tickets.
But they holed up in their main base and gave us one hell of a time trying to dig them out.
I think the k/d ratio jumped to 5/1 in the last 15 minutes for them, because they simply held their bastion.

dimachaerus was definitely making their tickets bleed at an extraordinary rate by capturing their bases!
It was pivotal in the match!

Was essentially playing musical chairs with the two bases for a while lol.

Yes, I am an asshole, I know this.
It is intentional, though usually not too horribly personal.

Unless you are a moron.

Yeah, and i once snuck rund and captured the base closest to the enemy hangar and held it as my lonesome little self in a BA for some minutes.
They literally took 10 minutes to find and kill me *snickers* ^^

I was there on that server on your team, before I CTD'd and some filthy vulture stole my seat. I even had a decent kill ratio of 12 to 5 or something.

Probably the most fun I've had in 0.4. I thought at the start that this match was going to be a giant stomp from the other team, like the last time I tried to face down almost the entirety of TLL with a disorganised mob. my speculations were almost complete when I tried to take the southern bases and was completely swarmed. I opened up comms and said 'Loads of guys at G5' and people actually responded! Me, Mechman and a few others went down there and thwarted the enemies flanking maneuver.

I mostly guarded the middle base with my Warhammer prime, taking out any lights and mediums that were too brave and strayed away from the pack. Major attacks were common, and there were many moments like "LOKI OSHI", but we held our ground for the most part.

I spied several red diamonds on the radar. They were at one end of the runway, I at the other. Kicking the throttle forward, the lumbering Warhammer lurched forward with a groan, slowly picking up speed. a Shadowcat and Bushwhacker forming on my wing. As the enemy grew ever closer, the more exciting it got. My heart pumped and my blood rushed. This is it, I thought. This is THE battle! A giant wave of Battlemechs emerged from the mist and fog as the sun dawned, its straying rays illuminating the battlefield. I pulled the trigger, firing my PPCs into the face of an Owens . . .

"Crysis Wars has encountered a problem and must be shut down. we are sorry for any inconvenience."

Hard luck, Snow Gibbon. :( I saw you a few times there, and you were doing good. Wish you had been there to the end. Hope to see you on the battlefield again soon!

It's a server side setting (Null Ticket Wait Time).

5-15 minutes could be pretty boring though if e.g. a last BA decides to hide in a remote spot.

I was glad that cvar wasn't set, a few days ago on Kagoshima. 4 lights/mediums with 287 tickets on one side, 2 Atlas refusing to die on the other. We probably would have used all those tickets if the repair bays didn't decide to act as giant bear traps ;)
It was quite embarrassing, yet very fun.

I'd rather we had that timer OFF.

I was there on Kagoshima.
It was Rally and Evgen with two Atlases.  They had ZERO tickets and were killing ALL comers, including myself multiple multiple times.
Our team had like 10 guys and we couldn't take them down!!!
I seriously think they could have killed off our 287 tickets!!

Unfortunately, they both went to repair in an two adjacent hangar bays and BOTH got their Atlii stuck in them!!! (this has happened to me as well)

So they had to abandon them and die as BA...
