The "Grand Plan" *TM* is to have an optional dynamic tick rate. The tick rate would adjust based on a number of factors like set total map time, team number balance, and who knows what else. A crazy idea I know, but I think it could work great. We would still have modifiers for server operators to tweak, but the idea would be to get as close to an automatic balanced decrement rate as possible.

I would like for there to be a simple debug message (for the moment) implemented that shows both side's current ticket decrement rate... so if it's at .5, and the enemy has 3 bases captured then it would display in red (or something) to be 1.5 ticket decriment rate.

Actually I would think that would be great to have all the time. Lets everyone know who is bleeding tickets and how bad. I think some people don't realize that when your team has 0 control points, you're bleeding tickets like mad.

Imagine if the top of the map screen looked something like this:

IS 350 -1.5 : CLAN 192 +2

I'd love this, it is hard to tell how bad you're bleeding unless you sit and watch the tickets long enough for it to 'tick' so to say, which seems to be pretty spaced out.

Yes, there are a lot of newbies who do not understand that TICKET BLEEDING EXISTS.
It should be very clear so that people understand that not capturing bases could be hazardous to their team's health.

And that sitting on the most important looking base is bad, especially if you've lost the ring of small bases surrounding you.

Hey, anyone from Wolfs Dragoons... could you fiddle with your ticket rates too?

You guys have lots of servers and they are very populated, but from my games there the ticket bleed rate is really really fast.

If you guys feel it goes with your style of play, I suggest you slow it down abit to curb some of the roflstomps ive seen there.

Thanks.
