MechWarrior Living Legends is a great game and I have only one bad thing to say about - It sucks too much time out of my life.
Every game has its issues, but I do want to continue playing and I often have fun playing it, even when loosing.
As to all the complaints and haters you guys suffer, remember that people who are satisfied and happy with a product do not go on a forum, complain or bitch.
It is  the small percentage of players who du encounter problems that consult a Forum and yes some of them do get Frustrated.
But do not let them get you down, please realize that as long as there are players on the servers you guys have devoted fans.
So please keep up the amazing work.

Since I don't say it enough: This mod rocks, and I have not been sucked in as deep with a game since the Counterstrike beta from 10 years ago.

Amarus was just able to install MWLL two days ago after reformating his computer... the new release is amazing! It is a whole new game, things are more difficult and I love TC! Light mechs actually have value! (well at least more than they did) and when I finally get my heavy I am overjoyed and proud of the accomplishment! (BTW THX FOR MAI SUMMONER!!! ,I just wish it could look down)

All in all, my clan has been revitalized, no longer are just the same five of us on, now it is like the whole clan is back in action...also those who have been sitting on the sideline waiting for the right moment to jump in are now in the water!

I can honestly say on behalf of others working on the project that this is refreshing to see. Especialy after reading over so many harsh posts.

This is what keeps me working on this project the fans i run into everywhere @_@ when i even mention in passing that i work on this i always get smiles and thanks. Usualy followed by ALOT of questions of which i generaly am not alowed to answer

However in that spirit i will say this....if you liked .4 you will LOVE .5 and .6 with the advent of our new updater expect lots of fun tidbits to trickle through.

SO get out there and tell the world about the mod if you realy want to thank us help it THRIVE,without the community we are but lost.

People complaining over small things is a good sign, actually. It shows that even though it's still in beta and has a long way until it's finished it's better than most retail games with huge budgets and staff working on it. I can honestly say I'd pay good money for this mod even as it stands today with little improvement promised. The fact that it WILL improve even further and that it's even free almost fills me with guilt (Which I will rectify by donations). I've said it before but it's worth saying again: Keep up the good work you've done so far in creating this fantastic game.

Seriously though, many people spending time with this mod on a nearly daily basis is proof enough of its awesome

I've played far too much since the first day of 0.1, more than any other game. It's simply, amazingly, often literally... Awesome. I'm not sure how else to say it.

Criticism is necessary to help identify problems and it is a good thing overall, although I imagine it can be disheartening at times. There are many frustrations - aircraft balance, missile camping, longtoms, and more - that are complained of, sometimes loudly, but that's natural. It's much easier to pick out things we don't like than it is to praise what we do like incessantly. I think I can speak for all of us in saying that however much we may find less than perfect, and however vocal we can sometimes be about it, behind the criticism we love the mod regardless. It's like none other.

This can be a terribly critical community at times, but it's worth remembering that if people truly didn't care they wouldn't post, not even to mention the stuff that they didn't like. If players can be bothered to write an impassioned 500 word essay on what they think needs to be done to make the game better, it's because they really believe that you developers are capable of topping what you've already accomplished and improving the game even further. If a lot of the feedback tends to be critical, it's only because many players decide, for better or worse that, "I think xyz changes would make the game better" is more useful to you and the mod than "I really like the mod thank you".

And since I probably spend far more of my time here offering criticism and unwanted advice than praise, I'll just say that I've played the mod fairly regularly for over a year now, and show no signs of getting bored of it yet. There've only been a few games that've held my attention for that long, and I generally consider them classics. So congratulations MWLL, you made my "best game ever" list!

As I have mentioned in other posts; This mod is something special. I think it is one of the best mods I have played.
You guys are doing something that is above and beyond most efforts in the gaming world.

With that success comes the curse of people expecting and wanting more.
Sometimes this manifests in complaining as that is human nature, but never forget that we all appreciate your hard work.

This mod is hands down the BEST mod i've played and BETTER than some retail games I've paid for.  I play it almost EVERYDAY since I downloaded 0.1.0.

Hey, I would not play this game if it were not that awesome. Jeah, I do crash a lot. So what this game rocks! So there a re a few (minor) bugs. So what. Unless players stop playing this dev team and their alpha testers are obvioulsy doing one hell of a job.

Even if it seems that I am complaining about something sometimes, this does not mean I hate the game. If this would be the case I would not be here. It is the other way around, the more you love, the more you complain. It's that simple.
