I'm looking forward to this release because
1. humour (even if it's a little lowbrow);
2. Duke's Badassery;
3. Gore! Like, actual gibs! Not just splotches of blood like every other modern shooter; and last, but not least,
4. Once this is done, assuming Piranha and S&T can get over their copyright issues, Piranha will start working in earnest on Mechwarrior.

Well point 2 and 3 just feed into point #1. His over the top machismo combined with over the top gibbiness, and LOL remarks are what makes Duke Nukem stand apart from the rest. The game is probably the only FPS that doesn't need to sell me through snazzy new features and top of the line graphics. All it needs to do is provide epic 1 liners, and moments like tellin' a boss he's gonna "rip your head off and shit down your neck" and then...he does; while reading a newspaper!
