what is about deploy your tank ... i know that the look on time is pain in the ass but if you lock some1 you let the shit (ELRM) rain xD

Except that LRM's are pretty easy to dodge. ....which pretty much kills the "LRM Partivan has so much firepower" argument.  If it takes forever to get a lock on and then only to have the mech simply side step or JJ over them......kinda destroys the tanks effectiveness.

LRM Partyvan ... HAZ EM fappING FIREPOWER !!!

srsly had to do

Airburst LRMs perhaps? The XM-25 Counter Defilade system of mechwarrior? Battlefield 2142 put this into effect as an assault rifle mount. You aimed at the cover which you wanted to fire beyond, and rolled the roller on yer mouse one click forward for every 3 meters beyond the cover you wanted the shot to travel before detonating.

I think what you call a "roller" is more commonly known as a "mousewheel"?  :o

You'll not only come to like my terminology, but love it. You will kneel down before the alter of awesome and thank me for my benevolent butchering of proper names.

hooha for airburst ammunition ...
would be kinda overkill for lrm ... imagin you aim at a base wall add 10 meter and fire the shit out of you ELRM launchers ... no tank (demolisher) can hide ...

That's sort of the point of artillery - firing past walls to hit enemies hiding behind them. How else are you supposed to attack those Demolishers without getting demolished? LRMs wouldn't even be very powerful, with wide spread and no guidance. Their main use would be for widely available light artillery to dislodge/soften campers, who right now have nothing to fear from indirect fire unless it gets so extreme that Longtoms are brought out.
