Why are you singling him out? A huge portion of the community is legging at this point in time. Or maybe it's because he's in SJ, and apparently we aren't allowed to? Well, I'm sick of eating dirt everytime a Demolisher or Puma D is constructed.

And this friends, is why we have the Osiris. No one ever goes for the legs because its faster to just gib it.
But if you can dodge being gibbed....

I had a LBX demo try to leg me once.... I got away because he was slow and LBX have high damage drop off.
Never been legged by a Puma D either...
I always get legged by Hgauss shivas... which is frustrating but hilarious at the same time.

I'm looking at you, Merf.  You did this twice on Kagoshima with a Puma D.

Was it only twice? Thought it was more...
It is important to remember that legging is a perfectly valid tactic and not at all broken.

You used an LBX Bushy at one point, no?
Much more expensive unit. Fight was mostly outside base. I got a bit of help from turrets at the end when you moved closer to the base. My total damage was one downed side torso.
I could not quit be as relaxed as if I had done that in a Demo Prime (I am a pro tanker now since 0.4 by the way. Soon as I reach about 75K anyhow), but near enough. I went through all of 0.3 without legging people (and for good reason). Seems the community does not agree with my assessment that legging currently is problematic for a balanced and enjoyable game, so you will have to forgive me if I remove my personal ban on legging and show it for being as broken as it is. I do try not to do it to people I know I do not have to convince of this, but if I can not identify the person or do not know its thoughts on the subject I will play the game by the rules the game present me with and shoot their legs of if it is tactically correct to do so (which incidentally is most of the time).

/Merf - Leaves it up to the reader to figure out which line should have been in sarcasm font.

Damned if you don't (people whine about wanting legging back in the League) and damned if you do (people whine about it on the forums when you do leg) this cannot, surely, be the kind of game where the only winning move is to not play? What will it take to make you people happy?

Oh oh, let me guess. Legging everyone except you.

Give me the ability to Carpet orbital bomb from a warship using Hydrogen devices thereby killing everyone and everything on the ground and in the air. Ultimate win and high score. LOL

Interesting case, i only get legged when in an Owens :D  but it makes total sense cause those there are stupid fast and maneuverable in the hands of the right pilot.

My best story case for this was that in TC on Death Valley, I literally able to tie up 5 other light mechs/tanks for close to 2 minutes by encircling and taking anyone that tried to break out of the circle (should be noted I use a near by mountain for cover) all by myself.  They finally legged me to stop the madness, but I had done my damage and held them in place for my team to mass for a push through their formation.

If I was them, I'd leg me too :D

Amarus. I have been lurking for a long while... I do know people that CBS and a number of SJ are quite active with RP, I just did not realize it was rarely turned off... Plus I do often stay IC as well for the most... It has seeped into my brain where I have been gaining a dislike for contractions itself and don't does sound more harsh to me then do not...

Either way, as I stated I probably had a lot more to do with being overly tired and not realizing it... and I got cranky. haha.

IC wise. We are all good Amarus, and do not worry, like any Clansmen. I would like to lay Trent out on the deserts of Strana Mechty and give him water from his own sweat every 24 hours for a week and leave his flesh to the vermin like he crawled to. He betrayed his Clan, his fellow Caste, and himself, his old age must have started his brain to rot and his freebirth 'bondsmen' blinded him from the vision of Kerensky while he was in such a sad state.

(Well it is all good so no issue. About the lurking though, for those of us in the forum it does not give us much heads up as to your knowledge of goings on if you are just lurking ;))

I am glad to see that not all Ghost Bears are war weary wardens who would do anything for peace. The man was no man but a monstrosity that needed to be purged. I think that your version of what should have happened is quite preferable to a quick death.
