There are only two possible outcomes....greater than life or worse than Daikatana. Place your bets.

In both cases, it will make for an exemplary gaming experience . .
Maybe it is so bad that it goes around the globes and comes back up as awesome?
'any kind of discussion of randomness ALWAYS WILL EQUATE to being able to critically hit a mech's reactor by firing a micro beam laser while facing 80 degrees to the side, shooting the ground, which would cause a random explosion which would randomly crit his entire team's reactors which would randomly cause the server itself to explode which would randomly generate a strange quark which would randomly hit the earth and randomly randomness randomfapp the shit fapp random!'

Even if it's horse shit, i am fully prepared to drop my current mindset and make it 1996 in my brain once more.

I don't even fully understand why.

Well when I wake in the morning and I step outside, I take a deep breath and I get real high and IIIIIIIIIII

I do not even like FPS but I will buy it just to pay homage to that trailer.

man i'm just gonna read reviews on Duke.  There's no way it's going to justify a full retail price tag.  If they're smart they'll just price it at 29.99 and pick up sales from people being curious.

I can not comment on the mental health of anybody that pays 49.99-59.99 for this thing.

as for MW:3015 if it's ever coming out it won't be any time soon.  The interviews i've read on it have just said the dev's are looking to up date the game with some new concepts that reflect advances on technologies.  Remember that CBT was really based on tech and scifi ideas form the 80's.

If there's no power armor in it we'll be safe.  No one had that in 3015 and even if they had old Star League ones, there were a far cry from even the Clan Elemental.

Think Nighthawk powersuit, enhances mobility and has basic armor from small arms fire, along with electronic systems that aid in assesing threats, targeting, and stealth capabilities...not a front line machine of war...it is a sneak suit used in defense if found.

And I know they want to update for things FASA could not have known about but I like the eighties feel to it, I like the original CBT, if you are gonna be 3015 then BE 3015...no lostech, unless it is a Kurita or Davion piloting it :P

oh yeah...BALLS OF STEEL!!!

In short in matters battle armor, aerospace and omnimech
I am the very model of a rabid fan of Battletech

That drone n' stuff is not really frightening DA tech, its pretty 1945 ...
They said they added some scouting stuff to make combat more interesting, atleast for the campaign to enforce co-op teamwork.

I'd have liked the game to be somewhere between 3050 and 3060 much rather, but early is still better then dark age or friggen jihad ...
