About the variant info:
I try to update some from time to time, but I have had hardly any time the last month, maybe I'll start updating them faster again from this week onwards.


On the pages listing mechs:
Listing all mechs that carry that weapon / equipment might be a bit much, but adding "signature" mechs/vehicles might be a good idea.
For example Huit for UAC2/5, Awesome for standart IS LBLs, Catapult for ELRMs. Tough I am not sure that you can find one for every weapon.

Btw I used the following template for the weapon stats. I automatically filled it with my spread sheet program (OpenOffice calc). Because of that all weapon types are now showing the same stats and some specific stats were moved to the text section (like minimum range of LRMs).

Hm, why have range in the table but not minimum range? What about maximum lock-range and the minimum range where the missile heads go hot (i think 0m for CLRM?)?

Why do we need "See also" links for all other missile weapons if you could simply click the "missile weapons" category link below? :)

And i'd still like to see the "usage" section to be less of a giant list - maybe it could become a more textual section of common usage patterns that also mentions popular mech choices for those weapons?

Because I'm not a very experienced MWLL player (that's why I look into the wiki ;), I don't really now "common usage patterns". I now compacted the list in a table as suggested. Although I like a complete reference, feel free to reduce it to some prose. I definitly not the man for that.

The minimum range is not in the table because it is a generic table and only missiles have minimum range. The lock range was in fact forgotten. I will update the missile articles.

You can always just add a minimum range column to just the tables for the missiles :)

Sorry, but this isn't true, while the damage is minimal, it still causes some past 500m at least, probably out to the full 1200m...

In the game files the damage is reduced by 2 every meter after 85 meters.  For the 50 damage these make 25 additional meters:
