Still not feeling the Loki with the Gauss/Narc, but I guess it is a larger mech with narc.

Dont you dare touch the Loki B, the weapons package, as well as the electronics package make it one of the best mobile command mechs available IMO, and it is also one that can defend itself with SOME measure of success.

Giving Primes a discount could make some sense I suppose, since they are factory defaults with no customization. In general, though, I don't like the idea of giving specific variants artificial adjustments like that.

[...] Would like to see more fighting Ravens.
Is light variants as a whole are pretty rotten and/or boring, which I think is a bad thing given how many people are stuck in lights for a good chunk of the game. [...]

An old Raven 2X would be quite fun, actually, although it might not work with the MWLL Raven's weapon mounts. 2x MBL, LBL, SRM6, no special equipment. A simple light fighter.

Catapult Prime. An effective if not uber mech in 0.3, the nerf to I.S. LRMs really hurt it, along with the Clans getting Heavy Lasers; which can fire before the Catapult's medium laser can fire. It constantly runs low on ammo, the armor is so-so, it's slow as shit, and it's also more expensive than the Arrowpult, which makes little sense. The Bushwacker with 2xLRM15s and 2xERLBLs is a better choice most of the time.

A-Make it cheaper.
B-Upgrade the medium lasers to ER medium lasers, and ditch the dumb ELRM-15s for LRM-20s.

MASC/AECM

UAC-10
2xRAC2
2xMXPL

Sounds nice but I have some doubts about the pod space.

Yeah that was just off the top of my head.  This is what I came up with in SSW:

No JJ's, add MASC, down grade engine from 375XL to 300XL, add 3 tons of armor, drop 4 DHS, and AECM and 1xLAMS.

1xAC10(but I made it an HVAC/10, only 1 more ton than UAC, but 2 ton more than standard)So i'd say this could be any of those.
1xRac/2
1xLXPL
4 free tons.

It only came in at 0.5 tons overweight, though it would really need a more accurate AC to be effective, but the UAC would put it back under 75tons.   :) :) 8)

The RAC2 Uziel

It's utterly pointless.

It's utterly pointless.

Sadly true, it had awesome potential in 0.4.0 when RAC2s were good vs armor and it had ammo added on.
But then the damage slow down came and shit on its parade. :(

Yea, the damage slow down hurt pretty much all of the small caliber AC's versus armor.

I like the PPC catapult, but i wish it had either DHS or ERPPCS and 2x ERMBLAS (drop the BAP). Its just doesnt do much damage for its price value and its pretty short ranged.

Some of the warhammers could use a look at along with quite a few of the light mechs. ERPPC raven is nice, but its so expensive that there are better options. Lots of the owens variants do nothing early because lights just strafe LRMs. ELRMS on a light mech is also a dumb idea.
RAC speed adjustments should only be limited by imagination, ever increasing, ever higher!!!!

Not if you use those ELRM lights versus heavies and assaults.  They are much better for moving into position and leaving that spot once it is discovered.   ;D

There is nothing in this game more annoying to me than the bastard in the Owens sitting out on the far edges of the map on Mirage and Extremity constantly bombarding me and running off the moment I get within 800m.
