God that raven that has every electronics suite ever plus the 4 medium class lasers gets me so hard

It's just... perfect.  Good speed, 360 degree torso twist, not terrible damage, etc.

Only down side is that the TAG is useless (in it's current implementation).

I'd like to see TAG's only getting a lock if it hits an actual target, and if you get a lock it holds that on the target for atleast 2-3 seconds after, so lag doesn't constantly make you lose tag-lock.

Agreed. I've only ever seen TAG-guided missiles hit stationary targets, against anything moving they just lag behind regardless of TAG accuracy.

It would also be interesting if TAG lasers produced overlay waypoints the same way NARCs do. That way you could use the lasers to visibly designate targets for general purposes, such as scouting or focus-firing.

I was talking about the Raven Prime. It is the only narc unit i currently use. Maybe the others have merit but I do not have the experience with them to comment.

It would also be interesting if TAG lasers produced overlay waypoints the same way NARCs do. That way you could use the lasers to visibly designate targets for general purposes, such as scouting or focus-firing.

Maybe like map pings in other games. That would be cool but maybe change the way tag works. Maybe it could be used as a Narc beacon on a laser hit but with a 1-3 second timer? To lead missiles in you would still need to keep the beam on focus but you could also use it to "ping" targets for focus and scouting.
