even though I don't yet use anything that uses 8threads
Make sure you have r_MultiGPU=2 enabled.
Quote from: shadowkiller on February 11, 2011, 01:47:05 PMMake sure you have r_MultiGPU=2 enabled.According to the bubble description in the Crysis Wars Sandbox editor, r_MultiGPU=2, will turn off the ATI/AMD CrossFire. This autodetect setting should work for NVIDIA SLI.For ATI/AMD video cards, try setting r_MultiGPU=1 to enable Crossfire in the MWLL Mod.Also read through this thread for a discussion of the AMD System monitor and enabling a multi-GPU ATI/AMD video card such as the HD5970.http://forum.mechlivinglegends.net/index.php/topic,13071.0.html

I have multigpu set to 2 and I'm pretty sure it's working...now I'll have to test it.EDIT: Ok I just did a quick comparision between r_MultiGPU=1 and r_MultiGPU=2 and I didn't see any real difference in performance...can anybody confirm or deny this?

If you do have more than one GPU you should ALWAYS set it to 1. This way it will never accidently auto it self to 1GPU.
Setting it to 2, does work for ATI cards, becuase it worked for my 5970. However as I said, setting it to 1, is a better option. (And yes I saw you said you have it set to 1)

(And yes I saw you said you have it set to 1)How do you know it works with a setting of 2? I mean what data proves this?
So your proof is through subjective observation of your FPS while you are in game? Or are you running a utility that is recording the GPU utilization of both GPUs as you are playing the MWLL game?
Subjective observation then.
