I wouldn't say helpless. I plan on having Flamers (My Anti-BA weapon of choice) in the two front slots on a couple of the configs I'm putting together.

Just be sure to make a Quad Gauss config while you are at it.

Just be thankful you can move and shoot the h gauss. Technically you have to brace the mech before you can even fire the main guns and only one at a time. During both usually ends up with broken actuators.

I just like to give the people who were involved in the creation of a mech some choice in the variants that actually go in the game (though they still need to conform to our rule-set).  And as for my configs, you'll all see how nasty they can be soon enough.

That is what I am interested in seeing. The Fafnir is basically built around its twin H-gauss which takes up a lot of tonnage and two large hard point.
