Wouldn't it suck if that pirated copy of Wars had a trojan than emailed your CD Key to some database, so the next time you try to install it won't work.....just food for thought.  I would never put my legit cd key into any piece of software i downloaded from unofficial sources.

I do not know if anyone is still following this thread, however I still have the same bug even with crysis wars installed.

I deleted all of my old installations of mwll, crysis warhead runs, crysis wars runs.

however when I try to run mechwarrior living legends my screen turns from black to grey, to black, then windows says it has stopped working, suggestions?

I am running the latest version of all of my drivers, and for reference am using an ati card. 5850.

Hm, my ea download manager just randomly told me there was a patch available for crysis wars, maybe if I download that then reinstall LL it will work, will try.

I'm surprised it didn't patch when I installed it the first time, meh.

After the patch the mod sort of works but can't find a server list.

So now I am redownloading it all one more time and telling it to preserve the files this time so it will be less painful if I have to do it again.

Can't wait to play with the fafnir.

nono ! you have to load wars without mwll 1 time to put your cd key in and setup your cynet account THEN you can see servers!

Yay it runs! I still can not run on servers who are playing the urban jungle map, but it runs!

I got to stomp around in a mech today and blast the sh!t out of other mechs, sort of abused what I read on the forum and beat up a lot of heavies using shadowcat A and bushy B.

I'm undecided as to which is better, they both let me take on mechs heavier than I thought I could, the shadowcat A tended to be better in duels though and was funner / faster.

 I imagine in multi man fights I would take the bushy b though... anyhow.

Wow, vtols sure handle different than I remember, I can barely fly the things now!
