Would you mind taking some pic capper?

It'll be cool to have a record in the thread of what's up for grab (namely the minis) in detail.

I second the posting of the minis. I know the Summoner and Hellbringer and high quality, but what about the other 24 IS mechs, some of the few pictures I have seen do not make them out to be very good (1 Atlas I saw looked like it had a caved in stomach)

Its a shame the set didn't come with my favorites, Centurion and Battlemaster, but there's loads of other good ones anyway.

I was thinking about it but not really much point since there's already a youtube video with all the eyecandy, and what I got is exactly the same

I've seen the video and in fact posted it myself, like Coffi said I'm interested in what mini you actually get and the quality there of.

I'm not demanding or anything, it'll just be nice is all.

Any box set that doesn't include a Warhammer, Marauder or Rifleman automatically sucks.
don't bother sending me PMs, I probably won't be reading them in time.

Yeah, I so wanted a Warhammer in that line up. Still it's not a bad set up for getting back into BT for me and BinFish.
Call and they will come.

Which is a shame, because those are illegal in most of the Western world.  : /

At least, if you want to get the good models and not the weird re-envisioned ones.

I got my set a few days ago, and the Hellbringer and Summoner are sweet.  The rest of the models are identical to the molds released in the previous intro boxed set.  That is to say, unimpressive and kind of crappy.  Though with some paint they look decent.  I'm sitting at my desk basing them right now.

Also, the plastic is a smidge harder, which -hopefully- will make them last longer, but unfortunately it's been making the process of removing the flashing a LOT harder than it really ought to be.  Three of my models, the Grasshopper, Zeus and Jagermech, all have imperfections in the mold that I'll have to fix with a bit of modelling clay, but the rest are all pretty much what I expected.

Also, somebody said that both the Summoner and Hellbringer require self assembly?  Odd, everyone in my city got pre-assembled Summoners.
It is indeed greener on the other side, but only because of all the bodies buried there.

It was originally i do believe to be both unassembled, but they pre-assembled the summoner, with good reason.  Seeing a bunch of bits in a bag is one thing, pulling out t hat beautiful summoner was another.

Which is all good and fine -except- that the dolt who assembled my Summoner but the base on with a point towards the front!  Had to prise it off with a knife, glue was so strong it nearly snapped first.

my thor and loki did not come pre-assembled (and I still have yet to put them together), so maybe they only did that after their first production line?

Well the hellbringer is not assembled, and maybe yours was missed?  Either way the deluxe plastic look amazing and I can only hope they release more like that
