Ok so I had to move this here because the origional post was deleted. So our server is set to run one TC map every 24 hours. It's set to points so the only time your site gets points is with damage to the enemy and by taking a base. This is done so that all the bases can't be taken and end the match sooner than 24 hours. The goal of all this is to try and simulate the battle for a planet. Players on both sides will come and go, large scale battles will happen for areas of land, and bases will flow from one side to another.

I suggest that you pick one side per day so that if you come back later you keep your rank. My clan will be alternating what sides each warrior plays on per day. Both sides have the same mechs so I dont suggest always taking clan just because you like clans. If needed down the road we will make the server enforce even sides.

Every match this post will be updated with the matches info and the past matches info and top players.

Small note on server rules:
If you dont like our server mode then A. dont play or B. dont complain
Calling Clan Wolf names and acting like a child will get you the ban hammer. Like the server says play nice freebirths.

Good to see, I loved this idea and was logged on for a bit earlier in the day.  Very good idea, gives a sense of epicness that a big mech game needs :D

So this makes things way different.  It was fun as hell playing on Thunder Rift for hours not having to worry about time, but still playing TC and trying things out. ;D

We did get a little mean though when we decided to take the enemies main base too.  Sorry to anyone we pissed off with that, got a little bored and we were sitting on tons of monies.  Won't happen again, I think.   ;) Vegan Atlases, FTMFW! :P 

Oh and CWers, I hear that I am just a TS troll to y'all. What's up with that?  :P

TC with score is a bit weird though. Other than having a forward base for repairs, there is not much incentive for capping bases. On Kagoshima this results in "hunker matches" for instance. Both teams try to cap the forward hangar bases and then wait in Morrigus and Demolishers there, hoping to lure the enemy in and raking up points this way.

Does score "tick up" from having base advantage alone? Or is the scoring system the same as with TSA, so this is like TSA with capture-able mid-field spawns?

I don't think so, he originally changed it to the TSA scores, so that a lone player on the server can't drain the enemy's tickets.

Excatly,  score goes up I suppose you could even log on at different times of the day and still be the same rank, that is, as long as the map doesn't change or the server crashes.  It totally negates the point of getting points from capping after an hour or so on the server.  Snow and I were just raising hell in Owey Bs before I logged off, just some Awesome hunting.

Sorry about the delay in starting the game but I was not aware 0.5 came out today till I got home just in time to setup the server. So needless to say it took a bit to download and then somehow I managed to delete the entire install of MWLL so I had to redownload MWLL again.

Ok well I woke up this morning and it looks like the server crashed sometime last night. I am not sure if it was due to server overload or due to instabilities in 0.5. But it looks like this iteration of the 24 hour is a bust. I will be looking at the logs to find out what happened.

I think we are narrowing down the crashes to a rconnect 2 bug causing the server to crash. I think it has our server autosays posting to fast for 0.5. The new version it causing tons of server strain for some reason. We have had to knock it down to 24 players from the normal 32 already like we normally have been able to run.

O it is, but it was not a problem from what we could tell. We had it set to say something every 1 min on 0.4.9 but if we do that in 0.5.0 it crashes.
