Crysis 1.1 patch is out and fresh off the press..

Fixes

    * Fixed: Potential crash in D3D10
    * Fixed: Orange boxes apearing when hispec savegame loaded into lowspec game.
    * Fixed: Inconsistent damage dealt to vehicles when shot by LAW.
    * Fixed: Reflection resolution on D3D10, MultiGPU reflection update fix
    * Fixed: Memory leak with FSAA modes
    * Fixed: Infinite ammo hacks.
    * Fixed: Memory leak in D3D10 when switching screen modes
    * Fixed: Muti optimizations
    * Fixed: When player melees during gun raise animation, their gun will be in a permanantly raised position.
    * Fixed: Crash when loading savegame with level exported recently by editor
    * Fixed: Virtual keyboard does not function properly when a game pad is connected
    * Fixed: Users can lose the ability to look around with the Right Stick
    * Fixed: Setting screen resolution to "default" stops user from selecting last resolution
    * Fixed: Bug when changing resolution in D3D10
    * Fixed: Issues with Depth of field and water droplets in D3D10
    * Fixed: Crash on NaN warning

Updates

    * Added: Motion Blur UI and V.SYNC UI options
    * Optimized: Motion blur
    * Optimized: FSAA (Full Scene Anti-Aliasing)
    * Optimized sound id implementation
    * Enabled VSync functionality in D3D10
    * New benchmarking files for ice CPU benchmark.
    * http/xmlrpc password protected remote control session
    * Marked debug cvars as cheat
    * F12 (screenshot) now works in restricted mode as well

Tweaks

    * Reduced LAW splash damage vs. infantry in PowerStruggle mode
    * Slowed Rocket projectile speed down in MP slightly
    * Disabled automatic turret bounding boxes on vehicles to prevent issues with LAW hit detection
    * Reduced grenade explosion radius in multiplayer
    * Clamped water tesselation to avoid cheating in MP
    * MultiGPU improvements with depth map updates

Does anybody else have the problem where whenever you load a level or start a multiplayer level, there's a box in the corner of the screen and everything else is all glitchy and weird until you set AA to 2x and apply, then go into advanced graphics settings and set everything back to low?

Yay! Finally.. I hope for nice performance hit after aplying this patch ;D

Wow.... This patch is great. On my computer i have really nice improvment in performance! :) The game runs smooth even on most deadly for my rig levels. ( Every snow area and last map... ) nice. Offcourse there are some performance drops, but they are quite rare :)

Give it a day or two. BF2 servers had a similar problem when getting patches put in.

Just last night I was complaining about the lack of a patch, but I guess our first one is here. Why did it take them so long though? I guess the LAW has been nerfed towards infantry a bit, but I doubt that will slow the rampant spam of it by much. Has anyone else had an issue where there is a noticeable lag when firing a weapon? I know this isn't network lag or video lag because I've experienced it in single-player and I always have a pretty respectable frame rate. I usually see it when firing bursts from an automatic weapon, or firing quickly with the pistol. There are a bunch of other odd errors that I don't see being fixed with this patch, such as someones weapon (in third person) being stuck in the "upright" position as if they're close to a wall.

EDIT: Well, I guess they did fix that second one.

One reads that this is true for grenades as well. I personally didn't check it out. I failed to see any performance improvements, quit Crysis and put it back on the shelf after strolling through some MP levels, admiring the environment.

Hmmm... Maybe performance improvements are beter on Dx 10? o_O Before instaling the patch it was immposible to play on some levels o_O... Now everything is smooth.. I must check how it works in Dx 9 now...
