Thing is that is going to be awesome about pods and left/right torso is that they have individual pitch that stacks with standard torso pitch. Aeros... BEWARE!  ;D

Model uses its own bloody and aspy pods. They are designed to fit a number of different loadouts. Premium variants cost has far shadowed a novacat/madcat.

Can't wait to try that out.  Might be seeing more ToS servers from here on out so people can pilot the beast.

Then we need one with CUAC5/2 or CLBX5/2 in those pods!

Can be as many disagree with me, but the Blood Asp by Pawel Czarnecki was much better placed (more one-piece and a nice-looking).
Compare for yourself:

I even have that model and i can say that from up close it looks even better. Pawel Czarnecki is a great artist to look up for any artist present an our team let alone less experienced ones like myself, no two ways about that.

However I DO know how this game works/requires and if you at least thought why this model exists for such a long time and its not in game yet, if not read on the frontpage what KingLeerUK stated about Pawels model you would not have to waste time putting such a shamelessly stupid statement/comparison on a media release thread.

*Edit*
Thank you Gouty.
I don't even really know what Kingleer means by the geo being inappropriate for the game engine. could mean like any one of 3 things or all of them. If he doesn't want to be using pawels original geo, which is just going to be what 100ktris+? well that's kinda obvious. if it's going to be the tri count of 20 or so other mechs...

From my perspective: at a glance at, Pawels I am not sure that the leg would clip hugely into the arms at certain pitches and rotations, but that would be the only thing that comes to mind that would technically force the majority of proportional changes between the 2. Other than the cockpit...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUmYXJactSc&feature=related

If someone likes Pawels proportions better, then Great, No need to get defensive over opinions. I thought about why the proportions changed and I read what Kingleer wrote , nothing is obvious about the new design decisions. imo it's simply just better to explain the choices made without calling people stupid for their opinions about aesthetics.

Great job on the new mech, and that map looks absolutely stunning!  Can't wait for the next release.  The suspense is killing me!

So then it will take all of a Khan's spawn money plus the spawn money of a nearby GC to buy one? Useful.

Additionally price point balancing for league play is being destroyed every time these mechs get ridiculously higher price tags. Seems like that is a measurement that is just not going to work going forward.

I expected the Kodiak to outstrip the pricetag of anything else in the game, though I'm a bit surprised this is also the case for the Blood Asp. It's the same tonnage as a Mk2, simply with different hard points. I assumed it would be priced similarly.

Either way I do look forward to seeing it in action!

I wonder what the variants will be.  What does Sarna say!?

Since when does MWLL follow traditional BT builds?  :P

If the gauss rifles on the sarna prime variant http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Blood_Asp were replaced by UAC20s, and the streak 6 replaced with a standard srm6, it would be sick. CQB DPS would probably outstrip the Mk2 B or Mauler D.

My long range build:

2 gauss rifles
6 ER MBLs
1 ATM6
3 tons ammo

I think I might be overweight in MWLL terms though.   :-[

It's just a bummer the team chose to put some much of the cost on the weapons rather than the chassis. We end up with many great mechs that don't get used because at the point they are useful in the game they are simply priced out of the player's hands. Mechs like the puma prime are so awesome yet only a fool would take it over a bushwacker in a 5v5 match. The blood asp is awesome but going to be priced out of the range of 5v5 budgets (like nearly every decent clan hvy+ mech), not mention playing under puretech rules. The kodiak, and warhawk I am sure will only further this problem, and I am wondering how the stormcrow will fit in. Cbill limit was a very simple and easy way to keep league matches in check, but it's not going to work if these prices keep going up and up and up.

On a happy note, I will take great pleasure in basically one alpha killing nearly every light mech in the game once the blood asp is released.

Premium variants cost has far shadowed a novacat/madcat.

Since the inner-sphere has no mechs that match clan assaults in price. Isn't this going to really skewer the balance for any future plans for Puretech IS vs. Clan matches? (Ignoring outside considerations like C3 and LongTom being IS Only).

We both know it will. The higher up you make the limit so you can include at least one of the most expensive asset means that cheap IS assaults can be stacked and spammed. Price inflation like this kills cbill balance for league play or it's going to ruin drop diversity.

The Adder prime is underused because it is a long range sniper, and therefore largely useless in a close firefight.  Other mechs can match the range plus an increase in firepower and speed (the Adder is rather slow).  It's only advantages are its low profile, which is useless in the tight confines of a league match.

It's just cold, hard reality biting you in the face. I'm sure most other league players can hold off their favorite ubermechs for the sake of their cbill limit.  I'm not too worried about it.
Thanks for the view.
