Supreme Commander modding
« on: March 01, 2007, 05:09:05 PM »
Hey, I was wondering if anyone here has tried modding Sup Comm any.  I've been messing around with it a little.  I think I'm going to make a battletech sup com mod where the units would be in-line with their classic battletech counterparts.  Let now if anyone's tried modding sup com.  Its not going to be a real "hard core" mod but just something I'm going to work on a little at a time.  Maybe a few other people helping out, but casually.  Anyway, yea.  Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas.  I'll propobly set up a forum on one of these free forum sites somethime.

*Speaking of Sup com any of you play?  If you do we should play sometime (don't worry I'm not that good :P)
What do you think of Sup Com?

Yea actually I was thinking about that.  I'm more of a C&C fan myself.  The maps are alot more detailed and interestig.  Sup com maps are just boring.

Supreme Commander in itself is a failure to do what the goal of it was. All the game play is about is how fast can you click you mouse to create more units. The more mass amount of units you have, the better chance you'll have to win. On top of that, the game only uses 2D sprites! Not even real 3D and it still has a high memory and CPU usage?!?!

I'm sorry to say, but this game fails.
