Ah so it was pry Nitro's atlas I was using as cover in the last few seconds throwing salvo after salvo of MRMs at anything that moved.... JJ ftw.

I could barely see my targets with your cloud of MRMs flying everywhere.
I was just shooting in the direction of the MRMs and adding more MRM10 salvos to the mix.

When we got the GO GO GO signal from NotsoCoolJ and we both dashed up the incline into the E5 base, all I could do is hold my breath and cringe to meet my maker in short order. Cresting the top of the hill, I targeted the Atlas and went rapid-fire with my el-cheapo ssrm Vulture. He went crit shortly thereafter under combined fire which completely blinded me. I luckily survived the blast but didn't last longer than 15-20 seconds against the surviving assault mechs. Good thing you avenged my death by serving them a plate of pain seasoned with RACs. :) At that point, I lost track of what happened next and who else went in with us...

It's funny you say that because he chanted "go go go" when half our team (including him) were a mile away.  I was the first to run in there and I had to wait a bit for our team if we were to have even the slightest chance of winning.  This is the same guy who kicks people off the server if they don't listen to his commands.

Is there a mute button??

Honestly if it moved and wasn't the walking hill in front of me it was a target.

Announcement was IS won.  I haven't seen a "Draw" lately even with 0/0 tickets.  We had 1 ticket left until the last few seconds I believe.  IS team got very lazy when it was like 200/80 tickets or whatever and gave up bases just screwing around fighting but not in the key places. :-\  I hate when my team gets cocky from a lead and blows it.   I was the Awesome Prime in D4 splatting everyone with ERPPCs when they poked their heads out of the river below.  I managed to hold that base with a couple lights for quite some time but had to exit stage right as I was pretty damaged and didn't want to risk getting stuck in the repair bay for a determined push.  End game I was in a constant stream of Atlas C's as each life I earned enough C-Bills to field another no matter how badly I got gangraped.  There was one rather irritating moment when my Atlas C was fighting the Clan holed up in E5 and all my teammates where just hiding 200m behind me unwilling to move or even attack until after I ended up taking the base entirely on my own. :-X

The opposite was true on our team.
Once one guy moved towards or into a base, all the mechs in the area swarmed and took the base by force.  It was like we moved as a school of fish with one mind.

A tactic that worked for me was to run straight through a group of big slow enemies with a Scat A popping off a few shots left and right.  This made all the big mechs rotate so they were unable to focus fire on the base entrance where my teammates came behind.  My teammates just moved in and took out all the IS mechs because they were facing the wrong way with their backs exposed to the brunt of our forces unable to defend themselves.  I did this twice taking only medium damage because of my mobility and small profile.
