Wow... peeps see one feature of a new OS and go ballistic.
Its called... turn it off. If you don't know how to do that, then you don't need to be bitching about it in the first place, it'll be user friendly enough to help you to use it.
I'm not seeing anything I didn't see when they released XP, a bunch of bells and whistles that can be turned on or off as needed. How quickly the crowd was to call XP a 'faggotry' OS (to quote some of the peeps in this thread). And how quickly thereafter, Win98 was forgotten. Same thing with Win7 and Vista/XP.
Must be that "Fight the system" adolescent BS running through people's systems still.
Anyway, a feature of Win8 that isn't really discussed is it will be coming in 64 and 128 bit versions (good bye 16 bit applications, thank god). Now the real issue is to see how fast AMD and Intel can get those 128 bit CPUs out there and affordable. Not to mention software developers.
