Halo 4 trailer released

Looking forward to this, love playing Halo coop with my friends :)

PROTIP: It was never said there wouldn't be any more Halo games, it was that Halo 3 was the last of the original Halo trilogy (ODST and Reach were offshoots), and that Reach would be the last Halo game Bungie would make. Halo 4 will be made by 343 Industries, a studio Microsoft established to continue the Halo universe.

It's not a jetpack; it's a small vernier thruster maneuvering pack. They'd be needed for zero gravity combat, but would lack the thrust needed for lift on planets.

The Chief's suit weighs as much as a car, you could fit a lot of stuff in there.  :P

Aside from Bungie itself not making it, and instead a few former Bungie employees, I wonder what all will change.

The music sounded much different in the trailer.  Didn't sound like Martin O"Donnel at all, despite having the same theme.

I think it'll be a hit or miss.  Either not much will change, or Halo 4 will end up being the MechAssault of Halo games.

looks fantastic, i love the halo universe nearly as much as the bt universe except for 1 issue, the 360. i most likely will never play another halo title since halo 1, never had halo 2. so i will eagerly await the next novel in the forerunner series.

You can always tell Xbox sales are getting skimpy. They release another Halo game  :P

Halo really isn't a bad series, but it belongs on PC, not a console. Especially not one with a controller like Xbox.

i don't mind the brick, it resists my efforts to break it when something absurd happens.

Wasn't the size or shape of the controller (I liked the N64 and Dreamcast controllers). There was something off in the control sticks. I can play any FPS on the PS1, PS2, or PS3, the N64, Gamecube, Wii, Dreamcast, ect with no problem. The moment I try on the Xbox or Xbox 360, I'd be spending my entire time correcting the view from pointing straight up or straight down at times.

The durability of the controllers is a massive let down. You whack the analog too hard and it stuffs up the gyro. No point replacing it because its just as much as buying a new controller. So its always better to go with a cheap controller to replace. I've luckily been able to keep one of my controllers in an almost pristine condition because I let no one else use it.

The other three have been battered and abused by people and barely work.

The amount of N64 controllers that passed through my group back in the early 2000s.

I've been using the same controller for 5 years and I don't exactly treat them well, yet it works great.

one of mine has been kicked, thrown, dropped, had pop spilled on it and sat on and it still works fine

I got 2 new ones that are absolute CRAP, and the one I bought before I even OWNED a 360 (so I could play split-screen at a friend's house 5-6 years ago) still works very well

Sure, it pulls to the side a bit every once in a while, but besides that it's perfect
