I'm not sure I see the connection, unless they're offering bonus tracks for extra money on top of whatever you paid (or didn't) for the initial product. Remix tracks at that.

It's about as connected as lipids and water molecules and not really worth exploring in any more detail. 

I really liked TF2 when it came out and for quite a while afterwards until all the crazy guns and shit started coming out.  I guess you
could say I liked TF2 classic.

I'm gonna agree with Sprafe and Bill here. I never played TF2 much myself, but I was pretty peeved at the whole hats thing. Firstly because it's very unlike Valve, a respectable developer, to go for such a blatant cash-in, and secondly because it ruined very good character design.

....and I've never played a game with micro purchases or P2P, I just refuse....I guess I'm old school in that when I purchase a game/product I don't want to keep shelling out for it, expansions sure.....nickel and dime not so much...

BUT....I'm addicted to CBT/Mechwarrior universe so I don't know how I'd react....

Back on topic, I guess after paying a monthly fee for MMOGs from about 1999-2010 I'm a little more desensitized to the various pay-for-play business models out there.

I very much enjoied Team Fortress Classic for HalfLife 1 over Team Fortress 2. TF2 just seems the same shit every round, I mean I did play it a good bit for a while, it is fun.  I still wish for the proposed TF2 they had thinking of when TFC was popular.
