Sorry but I think you can control MW decently with a pad imo.

Left stick  vertical - increase/decrease throttle
Left Stick horizontal - turn left/right
Right Stick Controls Torse (up/down left/right)
Left trigger Zoom
Left sholder (MASC)
Right trigger fire group
Right sholder change fire group

That leaves A / B / X / Y  + the dpad (another four controls) free for your choice of things like seperate fire groups / coolance / shut down override ect.

In fact I think it would be quite easy to do, so I don't see why it should be called dumbed down just because you use a pad for it.  If they had the balls I reckon it could be pulled off just fine.

I never personally said otherwise, they would be morons not to go after the console market. I just don't want to play a console game.

Well they can do a half assed game that no serious MW fan will play; and most likely no (cod) casual gamer since it's just to much effort even immersing into the game world of BT. Like Mechassault which never happened, or they can actually bring back a great franchise and focus on the traditions. I mean MW2 was very popular at the time. But sadly ELH_Vivicector is most likely right about his statement:

MWLL can not be popular. It has a complex mechanic based on skill, not luck. 90% of people can not play in such games...

MW5 will be popular, if it will have BIG SHOOTING ROBOTS and 5-keys console-like control.

However I will not play this and I hope most other won't as well. Let's just hope they still stick to what the Interview at IGN states. ;)

Id actually say it's because a) it's a mod based on a game that wasn't/isn't popular in the first place and takes a serious pc to play (decently) b) it has a ways to go to become more user friendly and even further to go to become more balanced and fun (imo of course).  But that's a whole different discussion.
