Hey SJ people. What is the word on getting this map added to the huntress rotation?

If work needs to be done to bring it up to snuff - it would be great to hear the feedback. At this point there is both a TC and TSA version of the map which should be ready for your rotation.

I'm concerned that you may have tried an early in-progress version of the map and discarded it before complete. Lots has changed since then. Either way, it would be nice to hear your thoughts.

9/17: A new TC version has been uploaded to MWLLMaps.com.

V3 Updates Include:
> Mech Hanger Added to southern capture point.
> Capture zone bugs fixed (beacons added).
> Visual Improvements (new color map, etc)

The latest version is FANTASTIC. I love the day/night transitions, the added vegetation, and improved bases. Awesome job on this one, had another great game tonight.

We run it pretty frequently on MWBU Custom and occasionally on MWBU Public. I've also seen it pop up on Huntress a few times. There's probably other servers that feature the map as well.

Good to see you back as well, Frost! Hope you might be able to get back into mapping at some point. ;D

Got to say, I've had 2 games on this map so far and have to congratulate the creator, it's awesome fun and IMHO the best of the Community created maps so far, thank you.  Had fun as part of a tank column moving on the D4 base we found a mixed lance of 'mechs and tanks marching up the river bed....fierce combat in, out and under the water ensued....fantastic stuff!

It's also almost impossible to feel bad about base-rape on this map as even with our team dominating the map completely and pushed up against their main base the enemy was still able to flank and capture undefended bases easily.....good design right there!

Huntress appears to be running 0.2 for some reason. I noticed the difference when the south base didn't have a mech hangar (which sucked when I spawned there).

Thanks! Very cool to hear. I decided to hop on today after reading this to see if it was up, and sure enough huntress was playing it.

Unfortunately, as finalizer pointed out they are on 0.2 which I think has a tendency to concentrate combat in the northern area due to the bases spawn hanger.

love this map. only issue is its a bit choppy when looking on from the air, and rarely by the side cap points. other than that, this map rocks, and the day/night is epic.

Just got finished playing on the newest version of this map.  I've always loved Ring of Fire and still do, but I wasn't big on the c5 base not being able to build heavies/assaults while the e4 one could.  Now it seems the e4 base has no hanger at all and is just a repair gantry and apc while c5 has remained unchanged.  It got me thinking. 

Since e4 has now been relegated to just being a ticket bleed point, wouldn't it be better to change it altogether and make it the lone aerospace point?  Take the runways/vtol pads away from the main bases like in marshes and seaport.  That would make this point strategically viable even though it sits the farthest from the main bases.  The c5 base could remain as is, since it's closest to the main bases and only able to spawn vehicles and medium mechs and the heavy hitters would have to make the longer journey to the battle.  I thought it might make the map a lot more interesting.

I understand this would take a lot more work on Linkin's part but it was just an idea.  What do you guys think?
