MWLL: Legal?

Hi everyone. I'm sure this is a question that has been answered many times before, but unfortunately I can't find a clear answer and I want to make 100% certain I have the correct answer. Anyhow, my question is is MWLL 100% legal? I know there are many legal issues surrounding battletech right now, so I just want certain that MWLL is not affected by them and that there is no risk of legal trouble by playing this mod.

The MWLL team has written permission from Microsoft, the company that has exclusive rights to all electronic representations of Battletech.

Let us toss in the Warhammer... this being a free mod Harmony Gold cannot really do much, nor is there any interest for them to as there is no profit being made off this game.

Don't listen to them.

Play this game at your own risk.  Many of my friends have had FBI agents come bursting through their doors because they are playing this game, and then I never heard from them again.
