good luck killing my marauder in your silly little Clan mech.
When will full game/demo/beta be released?
We're planning a beta release in the next *very* few weeks. At this time, we can't be more specific. Please stop asking.

No, I will not stop asking.

Have fun lying in the dirt when you get legged..

Seriously with those thunder legs of doom, I think NOT legging it would require a concerted effort.
Despite my opinion not having any effect on the final outcome of the mech, I certainly prefer the more Battletechy Marauder in Mancows avatar vs the tiny pod with silly arms on THE BIGGEST LEGS EVER....

It's simple, each leg will have more armour than ten demos.

Its going to bunny hop.

And then the cycle is complete. The Marauder is effectively the gayest mech that should have never been in CBT to begin with.

I feel like that about the whole clan thing ... ruins CBT completely.

I hope that wasn't an attempt to make a stab at me lol. I have yet to use clan tech in CBT. In fact the only reason I would ever use it in CBT is to play the role of GM in a scenario. Which means I'm happily getting them killed by the PCs.

But I've said it before. Catalyst Games needs to do us a big favor and RetCon the unseens. Replace the mechs in the fictions used by notable pilots with actual mechs they or FASA actually made and didn't barrow the art for (Rifleman can be replaced by a Jagermech for example).

Yes it will piss people off. But it will end the debate and the lawsuits that happen and stall the production of EVERY MechWarrior game. Not to mention if you have the old old TRO's and Minis with unseens, they become super valuable. So in the end, even for the naysayers, its win win.

I think every mech in battletech should just be a varient of the Marauder.

I'm going to take a propane torch to the next Marauder mini I can find. I'll take a pic of it and say it got owned by a Firestarter.

I could probably make money off a bet doing it  :P

Though I'd probably get banned from the local hobby shop if they ever found out.
