If you can get it to work then that would be awesome which brings up my last question about how it was proceeding.

Has there been a meeting with the MWLL devs yet? That was more in line with a community project for this if applicable with what was said from Vermatrix.

Im all for an ISW successful launch somewhere, somehow, and with whatever MOD wants to use it.

Hell we have all waited 7 or more years to see it OPERATE at full capacity.  :P

Either way, I answered questions openly asked here in good faith by the MWLL general public and MWLL team members.

MWLL will decide on their time, as I am sure they are all very busy.

Imma' have a beer now!

:o Quite interesting stuff going on over here. Interesting how my name keeps getting passed around under hushed tones. I don't have anything to say either way and best of luck to MWLL. I am still in development of my own projects.

Ditto...Yes, I was one of the original developers and was with ISW since 2002 doing the Graphical work and web site management.  I am with Rot developing our own projects.  Good luck to the MWLL community.

Here I thought this interface had slipped into the night, well it seems I was wrong.  I would offer this bit of advise to anyone considering playing in ISW, be careful yes it is a wonderful piece of work and has great potential, however there is extensive baggage attached to this project.  While I am only a minority share holder I would advise caution to everyone before you commit and if you do so please do it with the best of intentions and be willing to stay the course when the hard choices must be made, not for personal gain but for the community.

Whatever baggage there was is getting heavier by a lot of mysterious new posters dragging up a lot of stuff that would be much better said outside of the public eye.

They be Veramatrix haters. Did I already say we do not care? Stop making accounts just to toss in your two cents. *edit*Oh sorry, your account was made last year.  Still your two cents, you may keep it.

Hate or not dude my point is their beef is none of our concern and I really don't want to see a huge debate on this.

I do appreciate you guy's honesty here though, just try and talk to those with the powers to do things directly than turn the forum into a flame war.

That's all I'm asking.

Did I already say we do not care?
I hate to get back into this but you asked what happened in ISW back on page 2.  If you didn't want to know you shouldn't have asked ;)

There was always an excessive amount of drama in ISW, even when things were rosy, that's baggage that isn't going to go away simply because it's changed venue.  And no, these guys were not the cause of it back then however IIRC money (or how it was being spent) was almost always at the center of every flamewar that errupted.

Many people cared alot about what happened to ISW. Some of them so much so they donated money and or time to help it along. Mitch is right, even when things were great and rosy, there was always someone who was upset.

Near the end of the time where the community was with ISW, it was a constant see saw for me having to balance what decision to make, knowing that group A would be mad with a certain decision but that group B would be equally as mad if the decision was not made. I could not win.

It was at that time people starting talking about inappropriate use of funds. The senior investors reacted quickly, establishing one of the top 3 stakeholders (not me) to conduct an audit. It was found that nothing was spent against the wishes of the board or shareholders (where the shareholders voted on such things). That person still has that info to my knowledge for his records. However since money is something people can relate to and hold on to, it remained as a dead horse issue for people to kick around.

That being said I invite those of you that feel hurt to come back and play, although you will still have to use NM4 for right now. If you do not want to come back and play ISW, then I do not know why you are posting here, ISW is a game to play. If you want to be part of the solution, then come to me and ask, otherwise back off and let those that want to play do so.

Bill your awesome!

KingLeer, thank you for removing that inappropriate document with personal info in it from this thread.

We can spend more time doing our dirty laundry, or we can play Mech Warrior. I prefer the second one. Although for me and the MWLL Devs (I'm sure), we get to play less then others !   :o

ISW is Online for everyone to check out.

I do not know a lot of this history. I was never part of ISW. I have never seen the program. But I think I am recognizing some names from the BattleMech Hanger project. Am I correct in this Metro and Grafix?

To your comment Bill, the public eye has a way of cleansing many issues. Let the people speak!

With regards to the "inappropriate document", I believe it is still publically available in this thread, as I just downloaded the .PDF file.

That is because it was put back in AFTER it was removed by the admin.

Speaks volumes about the person posting the document in the first place, and his point of view.

If the document had been re-added it would have reset the download count to 0.

mitch,

it was readded, look at the edit time. KingLeer had edited it yesterday, removing it. it was added again after that. KingLeer knows, that is all that matters for that regard.

look at the edit time
Edit time has nothing to do with it.  If it was re-uploaded it would have a different attachment ID in the database and would have a new download count starting at 0.  That's how all message boards work.

Now idk what Kingleer did, he probably just hid the attachment, but I do know when you call people liars they tend to post evidence to the contrary.  Aside from being able to link callsigns to names, it's not like any actually pertinent data was released.  Most players don't even care if people know their real name.

On that note, is ISDS still in business or did it close shop?
