Sorry about this rant. blarg
Most instances when someone is rolling out in a clan heavy when everyone else is in slightly better lights is because he went back and repaired rather then dying in combat. When he then stomps the enemy team they scream "banking bastards!" to make themselves feel better.
In most instances of banking out of 12 people on a team only 3 or so submit to the bank. Whilst fighting an enemy team with a banker as long as you can kill a couple of their mechs really wont make a difference in the critical 10minutes of the round.
After that its just the team with the most "vets" or good player wins...as extra cash for the opposition wont help stop even 3 good players in meds in a group.
Although I do admit I have seen some clans who share their money and prove to be brutal. But would you class sharing money between three friends as banking? Where do you draw the line?
If anything what proves to skew public games balance to one side then the other more then anything is a couple of good players working together. Even if they do not share their cash.
Hell, you would have greater results of even pub matches by banning close team work then with banning banking(as it occurs a lot less).
