Right here is the specs:
Intel Core I5 M430(with Asus power 4 gear)
Nvidia Geforce GTS 360M 1Gb
4gb ram
EAX Advanced HD 4.0 sound
All Drivers and DirectX are up to date.
Also the latest crash was NOT running in overdrive, and the heatport goes right off the edge of my desk into the void of my room, so no issues, though its true, its VERY hot, but i would assume my laptop would have a bit bigger of a freakout if it was overheating...
Actually it wouldn't have a bigger freak out, pretty much all recent CPU and GPU when overheating these days just throttle themselves, hell most people don't even relise till it actually fries. It doesn't look like it's heat anyway cause you relise about not blocking the air vents (I've known people to dump them on cusions and wonder why their laptop suddenly stops working).
Anyway, if it's not actually crashing then debugging tools might not help, but might be worth turning them on just in case.
Can you also post your cfg your using? You never know you might have something turned on or off that shouldn't be. In fact you can use my cfg, since I know that works fine.
I don't know how good the GTS 360M 1Gb is but set it to medium and then close, edit the cfg to whats below and play mwll.

The fact alot of people are having this problem, means that it is probably not your laptop but the game, and that's gonna take a while for the devs to pin down.
