I've started a project in my town, Bucharest, in order to gather up players for Battletech. I will engage in make demo games along with a friend in a series of miniature-wargaming shops, and also i will make and upkeep www.battletech.ro
which for the moment is in construction. I have purchased some posters, extra rulebooks and painted enough minis for a small scenario game. I know presentation is key in getting players in, and we will have a textile-material 4x hexmap with expanded foam terrain to make it a bit more realistic, along with a prop Dropship. I will be running a drop-in/drop-out helped-out game with my friend, basically a 'tutorial' game. I will also have flyers, cards, and also another table set up for players who want to try playing without help.
To really drive the point home, it would be great if i could have the mission briefing, also with a bit of introduction to battletech universe, being spoken out while we setup the game.
I don't have a good recorded voice and neither does my friend, so i would like to ask if it were be possible to get some semi-profesional help with this. I have the intro and the scenario attached to this post, and i will take it with any modifications, both creative and grammar, necessary since i've never written for voice-over until now.
We will be needing this done by Saturday, for the first demo-game. I know it's short notice, and please excuse the deadline, but this will definitely punch home the game and the universe as a whole.
LE: I have been updating the scenario.txt over the past hours, it's now in a final form.
